General conditions of sale

Regulations common to all products 1. PRIVATE, GROUP LESSONS and COURSES.

1) Lessons, whether private or group, must be paid in full at the time of booking or according to point 2. In the event of non-payment, the teacher is not authorised to proceed with the lesson;

2) It is possible to proceed with the reservation by phone or by email, which can be entered only by paying, by bank transfer, 100% of the amount of the lesson. In order to register the payment it is mandatory to provide the name and surname and tax code of the person making the payment ; il nome e cognome e codice fiscale di chi lo effettua;

3) CONFIRMATION OF LESSONS/COURSES – In order to respect the priority of requests from customers, confirmation of lessons/courses must take place within 2 hours of receiving the bank details (IBAN code) for payment, otherwise they will be automatically cancelled. 

4) CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS – Lessons are held in all weather conditions and are not refundable for reasons not attributable to the Ski School. If the lesson is cancelled for reasons not attributable to the School, the amount paid will not be refunded. The only situation that justifies a full refund is the closure to the public of the ski lifts that prevents the actual performance of the lesson and this, normally, occurs with an amount equal to the total amount paid. Upon presentation of a medical certificate, a voucher for the entire amount will be issued that can be used in the current season.

5) In case of late arrival at the lesson appointment or early termination of the lesson, the student is not entitled to any refund.

6) For lessons reimbursed by the school if paid with a POS device (credit or debit cards) or bank transfer, the reimbursed amount will be subject to a 4% reduction, rounded up to the next whole number.

7) It is strongly recommended that you insure your lessons for reimbursement purposes.

9) ACCIDENT INSURANCE (Valid for all Ski School products) – The Ski Academy is not responsible for accidents during lessons, therefore accident and liability insurance linked to the ski pass or your own insurance policy is MANDATORY.

10) MANDATORY HELMETMinors under 18 years of age must wear an approved protective helmet. For adults, the use of a helmet is recommended as its use can reduce the occurrence of accidents and the severity of any injuries associated with it.

11) we remind you of the obligation to comply with the safety regulations governing the use of ski areas pursuant to Law 363/03 – Legislative Decree 40/21 starting from 1 January 2022 – as well as the Piedmont Regional Law no. 02/09; the operating regulations of the “Monterosa-Ski” ski area. 

12) Lessons are intended to last 55 minutes each.

13) Tax deduction: the purchase of ski lessons from ski schools or freelance instructors DOES NOT FALL within the category that gives the right to tax deduction for children aged 5 to 18; the deductible expenses for registrations for sports courses are only for amateur sports associations (ASD), a category which does not include the ski school.

Skiing is a sport but for a child it is above all fun!!!

Children suffer from cold and climate changes more than adults, and the peripheral parts of the body are the most subject to frostbite! Dress them appropriately!

Helmets are mandatory up to the age of 18.

Make sure your children have a skipass before the lesson starts.

Punctuality is recommended for both the beginning and the end of the lesson.

Make sure your child goes to the bathroom before class starts and assure them that if they feel the need, they should not hesitate to let the teacher know.

Inform the teacher of any allergies or special medical precautions.

When skiing with your children, take into account their abilities: if the child is a beginner, red or black slopes are too difficult for him and the experience could be traumatic or demotivating! Ask the instructors of the SKI ACADEMY ALAGNA MONTEROSA ski school for advice!
